Lyons Copse, Sandy Lane, Shedfield, Southampton, Hampshire, SO32 2HQ.

M27 J7. Follow A334 towards Botley. Over several roundabouts, past Botley Station. At Y junction keep right on A334 towards Wickham. After 3k (1.5m) take the left hand turn into Sandy Lane (signed Marriot Hotel/ County Club/Golf Course). Road narrows, after 1k (0.5m) on sharp right bend turn left into Lyons Copse (Solent Scout Training Centre). Got lost - ring Mike Baxter 07979 334679

The centre has bunk beds, toilets, showers, kitchen facilities, first aid room and main hall.

Accommodation will be camping as indoor accomodation is full.

Programme

We will be completing modules B to K (inc First Aid) of the Young Leaders’ training scheme.

Cost

£20.00 (including campsite fees, activities & food). Please send a cheque for £20 payable to HCSC to 5 Farnborough Street, Farnborough, GU14 8AG or send an email to michaelkeithbaxter@gmail.com to request BACS information. Please note that payment is requested in January 2017 and we will email you to remind you - please do not pay before then so we can process it in the correct financial year.

Module K only £5 - this can be paid as above or brought on the day.

What to bring

Rucksack or holdall, sleeping bag/pillow/fitted sheet (optional), wash kit, towel, tea towel, torch & clothing to include Scout uniform, outdoor / indoor shoes, waterproof & 2 changes of clothing.
